The Hunter's Lullaby
Destiny's cruel and Hell unkind.
How could I let you go away?
The blame was their own, the punishment ours;
Castiel's silent today.
But into the darkness, I'll send you a song,
To the cage where your soul is kept.
To your tired eyes, may my lullabies, wipe away the tears that we've wept.
Once did a hunter, protected by Heav’n, looked down at his brother and sighed.
Heartbroken, he cried, “Surely I’d give anything just to see that joyful gleam in your eyes.”
So great was his pain, he traded his soul and ended up alone in Hell.
He stayed there for eons, torturing souls until he was saved by the angel, Castiel.
